Mobile Alerts

With Interior Savings mobile alerts you can receive email or text message notifications about events that have occurred in your accounts.  Mobile alerts are set up and edited through online banking.  If you don't have access to Interior Savings online banking, please contact your nearest branch.

 

How to Sign Up for Mobile Alerts on your desktop computer

  1. Login to Online Banking.
  2. Click on 'Messages and Alerts' in the left-hand Shortcuts navigation bar
  3. Select 'Manage Alerts' below
  4. Select 'Register for Alerts'
  5. Add a mobile phone number or email address where you would like to receive your alerts
  6. Select the alerts you would like to receive

How to Sign Up for Mobile Alerts on your mobile device

  1. Open the Interior Savings mobile app
  2. Login to Online Banking
  3. Select the ‘Alerts’ icon
  4. Select ‘Manage’
  5. Select the alert(s) you would like to enable
  6. To set-up your notification preferences select ‘Settings’

Account Locked - Security Questions We'll alert you when your online banking account is locked after 3 incorrect answers to your login security questions.  This alert will let you know that your account is locked after you, your joint account holder, or someone unauthorized tired to unsuccessfully to log into your account three times.  You can contact us to have your online banking account unlocked.
Personal Access Code (PAC) changed We'll alert you when your online banking code has been changed. This alert will tell you if you or someone else has changed your PAC.
Login We’ll alert you anytime a login has occurred. This alert will let you know that your account has been logged in to. You can easily track if an unauthorized user has accessed your account.
Interac® e-Transfer recipient added We’ll alert you when a new Interac e-Transfer recipient has been added. Use this alert to track your Interac® e-Transfer recipient, or to see if a joint account holder, or unauthorized user has set up a recipient.
Transaction pending approval We’ll alert small business users each time a transaction requiring their approval is initiated by a delegate or another signer on the account. Use this alert to keep track of transactions that require your approval.

Scheduled Payment Failed  We'll alert you when one of your scheduled bill payments fails. Use this alert to stay on top of scheduled bill payments that may have failed due to insufficient funds.
New Bill Payee Added We'll alert you when a new bill payee has been added to your list in online banking. Use this alert to track your payees, or to see if a joint account holder, or unauthorized user has set up a payee.

Low Balance Threshold This alert notifies you if your available balance falls below the threshold you’ve set. Use this alert to ensure you always have enough funds in your account.
Withdrawal Exceeds Threshold This alert notifies you if a withdrawal exceeds a threshold you have set. Use this alert to be notified when large sums leave your account.
Deposit Exceeds Threshold This alert notifies you if a deposit exceeds a threshold you’ve have set. Use this alert to be notified when large sums enter your account.
Balance Report This alert notifies you of available account balance. Use this alert to stay up to date on your account balance.
Scheduled Transfer Failed  We'll alert you when one of your scheduled transfers fails. Use this alert to stay on top of scheduled transfers that may have failed due to insufficient funds.
Safety Deposit Box Renewal We’ll alert you when your safety deposit box is due for renewal. Use this alert to be notified when your safety deposit box is ready for renewal.

RRSP Term Deposit Maturing We’ll alert you when a term deposit held in your RRSP account is maturing. Use this alert to be notified when you have money maturing.
RRIF Term Deposit Maturing We’ll alert you when a term deposit held in your RRIF account is maturing. Use this alert to be notified when you have money maturing.
TFSA Term Deposit Maturing We’ll alert you when a term deposit held in your TFSA account is maturing. Use this alert to be notified when you have money maturing.

Loan or Mortgage  Payment Due We’ll alert you when you have a loan or mortgage payment due. Use this alert to make sure you’re never late on a loan or mortgage payment again.
Loan or Mortgage Maturing We’ll alert you when you have a loan or mortgage maturing. Use this alert to be notified when you are nearing the end of your loan or mortgage term.
