Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP)

The Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is a savings plan for Canadians with disabilities (beneficiaries) so they, their families, and others can contribute to plans where money can be saved and grow tax free, and later withdrawn to help support those beneficiaries.


  • Is registered by the Government of Canada
  • Allows savings for beneficiaries to grow tax-free
  • Contributions can be made up until the end of the year the beneficiary turns 59. Anyone can contribute to the Registered Disability Savings Plan as a gift for the beneficiary with written consent from the plan holder.
  • Eligible individuals can also receive the Canada Disability Savings Grant and the Canada Disability Savings Bond.
