Fat Cat Children's Festival » Kelowna

The Interior Savings Fat Cat Children’s Festival is a two day event that takes place at Kelowna’s Waterfront Park each June for the last 26 years. It is an interactive festival that promotes hands-on workshops to assist children in learning about the community and the different cultures that make it unique. The festival draws over 10,000 people and engages over 200 volunteers to offer a wide variety of world class entertainment from within our region as well as nationally and abroad.

Come explore the 27th annual festival, in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Canada’s confederation, Fat Cat will explore some of the stories and history of the Central Okanagan. Ever wonder who streets are named for and why? Curious about the movers and shakers who made Kelowna what it is today? Maybe you will meet them at the Festival or hear a story or song about them... there will be so much to learn, see and do at the Festival.
