As an Account Manager - Investments with Interior Savings you are a key contributor to the financial success of our company. You actively grow the business and lead initiatives such as campaigns; seminars and networking with external centers of influence. You are responsible for some branch operations in the absence of Branch Management including but not limited to acting as team lead for other employees, assisting with more complex member issues, ensuring that member service levels are maintained, that branch security is maintained and monitoring opening and closing activities. This position requires strong communication, leadership and mentorship skills, the ability to work well under pressure, the ability to be a strong team player and professionalism.

Through a comprehensive advisory experience, focusing on the four quadrants of financial planning - cash flow, credit, investment and protection, you increase members’ financial confidence by helping them achieve their financial goals. You provide the appropriate advisory service and make the necessary referrals to ensure the members’ needs are met.  You are responsible for creating and executing business plans that grow your book of business. You are results oriented and are responsible for meeting and/or exceeding specific individual targets while contributing to the success of Interior Savings as a whole. You are entrepreneurial in spirit and implement retention strategies with value added activities. While processing member transactions you provide seamless service to members and resolve member issues and/or complaints with a timely resolution. You understand and are able to explain credit products and services, including creditor insurance while making referrals as required. You adhere to safety, privacy and security policies and procedures to protect Credit Union interests. Ongoing learning is required to excel in delivering member service across a variety of channels. The Commercial Insurance Agent supports Interior Savings’ vision by developing valued relationships with existing and potential new commercial clients and delivers superior service by maintaining regular client contact, remaining consistent with corporate policies and procedures, and facilitating referrals to appropriate Interior Savings staff.
    
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Develops, maintains and grows branch commercial lines portfolio and ensures existing business is maintained. May also be required to sell and maintain personal lines and other products for commercial clients.
•    Performs all duties associated with commercial accounts and liaises with clients regarding their needs
•    Follows up with current clients to ensure appropriate coverage’s, insurance company requirements, renewals, claims and premium payments are in place
•    Develops and maintains knowledge of insurers and their appropriateness for underwriting various types of risk and packages materials for marketing purposes

Website Production Administrator - Kelowna Expand/Collapse

The Website Production Administrator supports Interior Savings’ vision of sales & service excellence by working with a small team to implement a compelling and engaging user experience (UX). This position contributes to, enhances and maintains our corporate website, mobile and digital properties.

With strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask under deadlines, you support the Integrated Alternate Channels (IAC) and Marketing teams. Through our content management system, you will assist with ongoing development and maintenance of, and facilitate requests for changes to, the corporate website. You will support the development and documentation of website-related processes and guidelines to monitor and ensure the service standards for our digital presence as well as analytics and search engine optimization (SEO). You will also be a resource in implementing crisis communications. You will also perform all other duties as assigned.

This position is on a six month contractual basis.

Technical Competencies
  • Knowledge of content management systems, website production, web design, responsive design and member experience (UX) on a variety of platforms including desktop and mobile
  • Experience using analytics to monitor and assess website usage, and make adjustments accordingly
  • Knowledge and experience with interactive marketing practices, including SEO
  • Knowledge of HTML coding. Basic understanding of CSS and JavaScript would be an asset
  • Ability to work independently as well in a small team environment
  • Experience using leading-edge design software (such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator)
  • Ability to coordinate with external suppliers for graphic and analytic expertise
